Seneca Lake Wine & Beer at Wagner Winery, Brewery & Restaurant
Wagner Vineyards was founded in 1979 by Bill Wagner in Lodi, NY on the eastern side of Seneca Lake. The distinctive, eight-sided Wagner Vineyards building is a major attraction of the Finger Lakes area. Visitors enjoy the scenic grounds that over look expansive vineyards, Seneca Lake and the distant hills. Friendly knowledgeable staff offer guided tours and tastings of a diverse selection of the fine wines made at Wagner Vineyards.
Wagner wines are estate grown and have been recognized world wide for their quality. Over 220 acres of vineyards are currently under cultivation; varieties include Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Melody, Vignoles, Vidal, Cayuga White, Delaware, and Niagara.
Wagner Valley Brewing Company opened in 1997 and produces several brews; Honey Wheat, Amber Lager, Pilsner, India Pale Ale, Doppelbock, Oatmeal Stout, and award winning Trippelbock Reserve. Seasonal and specialty products include Maple Porter and Hefeweizen. Wagner Valley Brewing has won numerous top awards including G.A.B.F., World Beer Cup and Tap New York medals.
In 1983 Wagner Vineyards opened a restaurant, “The Ginny Lee”. The menu is designed specifically to complement and enhance the medal winning estate wines and beers produced by Wagner. Lunch is served daily from May – October. Indoor and outdoor seating overlooks the beautiful vineyards and Seneca Lake. It is also a delightful location for wedding receptions and other special events.
