This is the epic triathlon you remember from the 1980s! 2009 will mark the sixth year of its return to the East Coast triathlon scene. We dare you to think of a better way to commemorate Memorial Day weekend!
One and a quarter-mile Hudson River swim that starts at the STATUE OF LIBERTY, then a 40-minute high-speed ferry ride to Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey where you'll start the 91-mile bike leg through the Garden State countryside of New Jersey and into Philadelphia, followed by a 10K run along the Schuylkill River, ending at the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum a la "Rocky." Does anyone hear “Eye of the Tiger” playing in the background?
Entries will be strictly limited to 200 athletes. NO WAIT LISTS once event fills.
