This may be your first visit to the Hudson Valley and you would like to get a true flavor of what the region has to offer. This itinerary will whet your appetite in more ways than one and you will surely want to return. Hudson Valley Sampler is designed for two to six adults in need of a little respite in the country.
The Hudson Valley Sampler itinerary consists of five nights in the beautiful Hudson Valley beginning on the east shore and crossing over to the west. Your accommodations will include a fabulous Bed and Breakfast for three nights and two nights at a world-class resort. You will enjoy a leisurely afternoon on a River Cruise; visit a mansion, a castle and a beloved historic site; relax as you are chauffeured through one of the Valley’s famous wine trails; stroll through quaint villages; sample cuisine from some of the finest restaurants in New York; and, treat yourself to well-deserved pampering at the premiere resort of the Hudson Valley. Five nights lodging, river cruise, three attraction admissions, chauffeured tour of the wine trail, five dinners, three lunches, five breakfasts are included in your price. Several other activities will be included as suggestions for your free time between venues.
You will also receive a detailed itinerary with map and directions and local contacts in case of emergency. Total driving distance between New York City and the furthest point on this itinerary is approximately 125 miles. Actual distance traveled will be greater due to various stops. Car rental can be arranged for an additional fee. If you prefer to arrive by train from New York City, we will arrange for your rental car to be at the train station in Poughkeepsie upon your arrival. Price does not include gas, tolls, gratuities, alcoholic beverages, train tickets (if applicable), additional items or personal expenses.
Hudson Valley Sampler is available from May through October. The price of this land vacation starts at $1,380. per person, double occupancy. Price will vary depending on lodging, time of year, attractions available and any additional services requested by the client. Hudson Valley Traveler reserves the right to make adjustments to this itinerary as deemed necessary. Trip insurance is suggested. A non-refundable deposit of $100 per person is required at the time of booking.
